Ron Arslanian
Fun Fact: His band won a "Battle of the Bands" competition in high school. His greatest adventure was going to Graceland with his brother-in-law Rick to be there at the moment of the 25th Anniversary of Elvis's death. Long live "The King."
Ron Arslanian
MBA, Boston University
Ron grew up in Belmont, MA, and graduated with honors from Tufts University with a BA in both Philosophy and Political Science in 1969. He spent 1970 in the Peace Corps in Thailand. After returning to the United States, he spent several years working for an investment company and in 1974 returned to graduate school, receiving his MBA from Boston University in 1976. In 1978, he and his wife Leslie purchased General Optical Co. from its original owner. At the time, General Optical Co. had been located in Kenmore Square at the corner of Commonwealth and Massachusetts Ave. for over 40 years. Ron became a Registered Dispensing Optician and in 1979 he relocated the business to its present day location in Cambridge, MA.
